The Novell CLP is the certification for people interested in becoming Linux administrators. As with all Novell certifications, course work is never required. You only need to pass a Novell CLP Practicum (050-689) to achieve the certification. The Novell CLP Practicum Exam is a hands-on, scenario-based test where you apply the knowledge you have learned to solve real- life problems —demonstrating that you know what to do and how to do it.
